Introduction of Innovative Fertilizers to the African Market

The Russian–African Community Foundation implements and supports projects aimed at advancing sustainable agriculture and strengthening food security across African countries. One such initiative is the introduction of UniAgroAfrica (U2A) organomineral solutions.

The project is designed to increase crop yields, restore soil fertility, and introduce modern agricultural technologies, taking into account the region’s climatic and economic conditions.

About the Product

U2A is an organomineral complex that combines:

  • essential plant nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium — NPK);

  • humic and fulvic acids;

  • micronutrients;

  • chelating components that enhance nutrient availability.

This composition ensures a comprehensive effect on both plants and soil.

Mechanism of Action

A key feature of the product is the use of micronutrients in chelated form. This allows:

  • maintaining nutrients in a bioavailable form;

  • preventing nutrient loss in the soil;

  • ensuring more efficient absorption by plants.

In addition, the organic component of the complex improves soil structure and stimulates biological activity.

Application Effects

The use of U2A provides a systemic impact:

On soil:

  • improved structure and aeration;

  • increased moisture retention capacity;

  • restoration of microbiological activity;

  • reduction of soil acidity.

On plants:

  • accelerated growth and development;

  • increased resistance to adverse conditions;

  • improved crop quality;

  • higher yields.

Areas of Application

The product can be used:

  • for seed treatment;

  • during the vegetation period;

  • at flowering and fruiting stages;

  • for the restoration of degraded land;

  • in landscaping and land improvement projects.

Its flexibility allows adaptation to various crops and climatic conditions.

Practical Value for the Agricultural Sector

The implementation of U2A solutions enables:

For agricultural producers:

  • increased yields and product quality;

  • reduced risks associated with climatic and soil conditions;

  • improved production resilience.

For the agricultural sector as a whole:

  • restoration of degraded land;

  • more efficient use of agricultural resources;

  • greater stability of production indicators.

Development Prospects

The Foundation considers this project one of the promising направления directions of agro-industrial cooperation development.

Key priorities include:

  • expansion of the geographical scope of application;

  • development of distribution and logistics;

  • localization of production;

  • integration into government agricultural support programs.
