On October 21, 2025, the VI International Foreign Economic Activity Forum “Challenges and Solutions for Business: Territory of Best Practices” was held in Nizhny Novgorod, bringing together more than 500 participants, including representatives of government authorities, business, and expert communities from Russia and abroad.
The Russian–African Community Foundation acted as a partner of the event and facilitated the participation of representatives of the African diplomatic corps. With the support of the Foundation, the forum was attended by H.E. Mr. Stéphane Sylvain Sambou, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Senegal to the Russian Federation, and H.E. Mr. Sidaty Cheikh Ould Ahmed Aicha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Russian Federation.
The participation of African diplomats took place within the framework of the forum’s business program, including a plenary session dedicated to the development of international cooperation and foreign economic relations in the context of an emerging multipolar world.
The involvement of representatives of the African diplomatic corps is aimed at strengthening bilateral and interregional cooperation, as well as expanding trade and economic relations between the Russian Federation and African countries.
The Russian–African Community Foundation consistently implements initiatives aimed at strengthening business and institutional ties between Russia and Africa, including by facilitating the participation of official and business delegations in key international events.
