Opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation with the Republic of Senegal were discussed with State Duma Deputy Dmitry Belik and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Senegal to the Russian Federation, Stéphane Sylvain Sambou.
During the meeting, projects of the International Research Institute for Management Problems were presented, along with existing cooperation with Senegalese businesses. A key priority is to establish exports of Russian organic fertilizers to Senegal, as well as the development of other trade areas, including exports of grain, barley, diesel fuel, and food products.
The parties also agreed to organize a bilateral meeting between Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin and President of the National Assembly of Senegal Malick Ndiaye, as well as to facilitate an exchange of best practices between the ruling political parties of both countries.
